Earlier, the federal cabinet approved lifting the ban on Tehreek-e-Lubaik Pakistan (TLP).
It should be noted that the Interior Ministry had issued a notification on April 15, 2021, to declare Tehreek-e-Libek Pakistan null and void.
It may be recalled that the Punjab government had sent a summary to the federal cabinet to lift the ban on the banned organization, which said that the organization had assured that there would be no further violence.
According to the summary, the TLP will respect the constitution of Pakistan and the laws of the country in the future.
The summary said that the Punjab government had decided to lift the ban on the organization in the assurance of the organization and in the wider national interest.
